REVIEW | BIODERMA

Hi guys, I hope you all are having good days of your life. If not then don’t stress, my prayers are with you!♥

So Friends, I got send a little goody bag from Bioderma Pakistan , which included some products and pamphlets, and today I am going to review the products for you all!

About Bioderma:

In Their Own Words,

Laboratoire Bioderma was founded by Jean-Noël Thorel based on a pioneering idea.

«When skin suffers, we should use its natural biology and teach it to live, rather than treating it. »

From this idea, the “Dermatological Biology” concept was born.

Today, The BIODERMA Laboratory is an independent French cosmetic group based in Lyon, France, specializing in dermatological products. With over 50 international patents, Bioderma is supported by dermatologists, recommended by pharmacists and overwhelmingly favored by customers all over the world.

The concept of “Biology at the service of Dermatology” has become an innovative way of developing products for the skin.

Present in more than 85 countries, BIODERMA is growing very fast and now it has been introduced in Pakistan.

MY EXPERIENCE:

SKIN TYPE: Combination to Oily

The products I got are from Their Sebium range, The sebium range is specifically for those who are fighting with the oily skin. As I said, i have a combination to oily skin, and at this time of the year, it goes oily, because of the weather changes and more importantly when you are converting to adult from a teenager, your hormones and body go through many changes. The hormones changes and skin changes as well, if you are the one going through puberty you would notice the changes in the skin, such as less softness and more of a shiny blemished skin.

BIODERMA offers a new generation of anti-blemish treatments that directly act on sebum quality thanks to the Fluidactiv patented complex found in all of the range’s products.

Bioderma is offering a number of products for such skin, the three I got are,

  • Sebium Gel Moussant
  • Sebium H20
  • Sebium Pore refiner

SEBIUM GEL MOUSSANT:

Gel Moussant is a purifying cleansing gel for combination to oily skin. The formula and Fragrance is very mild and for me it is indeed a very good product, I don’t have acne prone skin, it is just oily(sometimes excessively oily) from the Tzone area.

I have observed that it purifies and cleanses my pores without drying the skin, as It doesn’t foams up much it did not leaves your skin dry, I have experienced this with some other cleansers that if they produces a lot of foam, in return gives a dry-patchy skin, which is even worse.  It does the sebum controlling job on my skin very well!

I genuinely can’t say anything about those who have acneprone skin, or how this product would help them if they have acne prone skin, because that is something I haven’t experienced but I can clearly say that if they are looking for a cleanser which cleanses their pores well and gives you a mattifying skin texture afterwards you need to give this one a try, just don’t go to heavy with it, it is all fine to use it once or twice a day.

A plus point for it is that it is for everyone teens and adults, men and women and can be used as a shaving foam how Cool!

It’s 3/5 by side!

Sebium H2o :

The Sensibio Micellar water is Biodermas’ one of the most famous product, which not only cleanses and purifies the skin but most importantly it acts as the makeup remover and is loved by everyone all over the world because of its unique properties.

The Sebium H20 is again for those with combination to oily skin types, which limits the sebum secretions leaving the skin soft and smooth but there are some differences between Sensibio and Sebium H20. The Sensibio is the makeup remover and cleanser for the sensitive skin but Sebium H20 is only for Combination to oily skin which cleanses and purifies although it removes my makeup very well, but I don’t use it for my eyes because eyes are the sensitive part on your face and because it has a mild perfume in it so it may sting them.

The best thing about this is that it is Paraben free, non-rinse and prevents plugged pores. Long story short, this is so damn good, every impurity on the skin comes off on your cotton pad.

It’s 4/5 by my side!

Sebium Pore Refiner:

Now comes my most favorite thing, a pore refiner. I am using it since the day it arrived, and I am loving it!

It claims to tighten your pores, and reduction of excess of sebum. This is not that miracle product that could help you to get rid of the pores because that is not possible, pores are the basic feature of your skin and if you have oily skin they are gonna be more visible you can’t remove them permanently but yes you can minimize the pores, and in this sense this product works very well, basically my Favorite product from this goody bag. This is a perfect thing to mattify your face before foundation application, its good as a regular primer or moisturizer but not as a pore cleaner, it is better to use cleansers for that.

I have used it as a primer, and it helps to have a good make up for some hours, now this thing depends on where you are staying; warm or cool place. The Fact that I am loving this product is because of the feel it gives after application, when you apply it, it is just a regular cream/moisturizer and after sometimes it gives you a powdery feel, that you have applied a powder! This is something really amazing, and the other thing is that it doesn’t feel sticky and your skin doesn’t feel patchy at all! A very good product for every skin type and a life savior for those with oily skin, say bye bye to oily shine on your face.

It’s 4.5/5 by my side!
